This morning, I discovered that a project I have been working on to bring more transparency and accountability to the development of housing for Sonoma County's poorest residents - was actually the start of a much larger project with an enormous impact. I am now working on modifying Google Maps to include a new set of place points representing and. describing housing that has multi-year requirements for reduced rent prices. Google Maps every day assists millions of users obtain the location of restaurants, hotels, gas stations, and other businesses. Photos, website links, reviews, and user ratings are supplied for these vital facilities and services. Private and public housing, built with funding requiring low income access and regular public reporting will be included now on Google Maps. Information being provided by the County of Sonoma and the City of Santa Rosa, as well as Generation Housing and its membership, is now being. added to a targeted Google Map , whi
